Copper pipe connections
A typical example from the heating and gas installation sector is shown here.
The joint must be brazed such that it is gas-tight and pressure-tight. As we are concerned with a copper to copper connection here, brazing can be carried out using BrazeTec Silfos 2 brazing alloy (working temperature 740°C) with flame brazing.
Due to the P-content of the alloy, no flux is required.
