Heating elements for hot water systems
Three heating elements for hot water systems are shown in the photo.
Brazing must be carried out under vacuum or in an inert gas atmosphere.
For this example we recommend a continuous furnace whereby the brazing paste is brazed without flux in a hydrogen atmosphere.
Stainless steel and copper can be brazed with nickel-based brazing alloy BrazeTec 897 (NI 107 in accordance with DIN EN 1044) which has high resistance to corrosion. The optimum working temperature is ca. 980°C.
