Umicore Technical Materials is the capable partner at your side when it comes to developing and manufacturing of technical materials, products, total solutions and services based mainly on the special characteristics of silver, special non-ferrous metals and their alloys. The materials, semi-finished goods or components we deliver bring out key components for the production processes and the function of our customers' products.
Our worldwide customer base ranges from the automotive, electrical engineering/electronics, the refrigerating and cooling industry as well as in tool making and plant and equipment construction. In addition to a broad spectrum of products and solutions to meet the most specific and demanding requirements, all our customers can tap into a unique pool of competencies that encompasses metallurgical, materials and chemical science as well as extensive know-how in the fields of semifinished materials manufacturing and applications technology. Power Technology Materials: a leading manufacturer of high-quality materials for the power engineering applications. The range of our products includes hermetic sealing materials, spheres for the lighting industry, high-purity evaporation materials, and soft solder ribbons.
At Technical Materials, we live the Total Quality Management philosophy in our daily business: certified quality management processes compliant with ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001 are implemented with every step along the process. The business lines have already been distinguished several times for their "continuous flow manufacturing" initiative.
